Walkthrough and scope
We come out, look at what's actually there, and talk through what you want. Old houses in this area hide surprises — knob-and-tube, undersized panels, joists cut for ductwork — and finding them now is cheaper than finding them in week three.

Written scope and fixed price
You get a line-item scope: what's included, what's excluded, what the allowances are for the things you haven't picked yet. Vague estimates are how renovations turn into arguments.

Permits and schedule
We pull the township permits and give you a working schedule with the disruptive days marked, so you can plan around the week without a kitchen.

Build, with the mess contained
Dust barriers, floor protection on the path in and out, and the site cleaned at the end of each day. You're living here while we work — we build like we know that.

We walk it with you and write down every last thing before we call it done, then handle final inspection sign-off.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom renovation take? +
A full bathroom gut-and-finish typically runs two to three weeks. A kitchen usually runs four to eight weeks depending on cabinet lead times, which are often the long pole rather than the labor. We give you a dated schedule with the disruptive days marked before we start.
Do I need a permit to renovate in New Jersey? +
Plumbing, electrical, and structural work generally require permits, and requirements vary by township. Cosmetic work like flooring and painting usually doesn't. We pull whatever your project needs and handle inspection sign-off as part of the job.
Can I live in the house during a renovation? +
For a single bathroom or a basement, almost always. For a kitchen, most people manage with a temporary setup elsewhere in the house — we'll help you plan it. We use dust barriers and protect the path in and out, and we clean up at the end of every day.
Do you provide a fixed price or an hourly rate? +
A fixed written price against a line-item scope, with clear allowances for finishes you haven't selected yet. If something genuinely unforeseen turns up behind a wall, you get a written change order with a number before any additional work happens — never a surprise on the final invoice.
Are you licensed for interior work, not just roofing? +
